Obliga a mirar hacia otro lado mientras la ciudad permanece en la oscuridad, sosteniendo su vida diaria con ingenio y resistencia.

The country is undergoing an energy crisis that shapes every aspect of daily life: daily blackouts, fuel shortages, and the constant reorganization of routines around the absence of electricity. Light, taken for granted elsewhere, here becomes an intermittent resource, a privilege that rarely reaches most of the population.
In parallel, symbols of power are put on display with force on marked dates such as July 26th, in a spectacle meant to project continuity, control, and strength. Yet that brightness is illusory: it compels one to look the other way while the city remains in darkness, and its inhabitants face extreme limitations, improvise solutions, and sustain their daily lives with ingenuity and resilience.
